Outlook for Windows (classic)
Mail in classic Outlook on a Windows computer.
Enter your address and password; most apps set up automatically.
Use your mailbox password: the one you chose from your set-password link, not your dashboard password.
- In Outlook, click File, then Add Account.
- Enter your full email address and click Connect.

- If Outlook asks to let a website configure your settings (autodiscover.veltomx.com), tick Don't ask me about this website again and click Allow.

- If Outlook asks you to choose an account type instead, choose IMAP and enter the settings at the bottom of this page.
- Enter your mailbox password and click Connect, then Done.
Good to know
- Classic Outlook doesn't sync calendars and contacts from Velto on its own (it needs an add-in). Use your phone or Mac for those, or ask us.
- The new Outlook for Windows and Outlook on phones work too, but they sync your mail through Microsoft's servers.
- On a Compliance account, use classic Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail or the Velto app — not the new Outlook or Outlook mobile, which sync your mail through Microsoft's servers.

Check it works
Send yourself a message from the app, then reply to it. If it arrives both ways, you're done.
